DVVC DIRECT VOICE COIL COOLING
Traditional pole venting is an inefficient way to cool a subwoofer. Our DVVC technology rapidly cools the subwoofer by positioning the venting directly below the coil. The heat trapped inside the subwoofer is instantly exhausted through the vent holes with every movement of the cone. This proven technology reduces cooling time and allows your woofer to play louder, longer and handle more power.
LOADED AND READY TO PLAY
Power Reference subwoofers are always ready to bring big bass, but to maximize their performance you need a proper enclosure. We’ve developed a full line of Power Reference enclosures specifically designed to maximize the performance of our Power Reference subs. These enclosures are available in a range of sizes and configurations and feature high quality MDF with dado groove construction. Each box is wrapped in 2-tone embroidered carpet for an ultra-clean looking, high performance loaded enclosure.

Memphis offers sleek black aluminum branded grills which fit everything form a 6.5″ to 15″ Power Reference Subwoofer. Got slim subs? No problem! Memphis 10″ and 12″ grills also fit slim subwoofers perfect for protecting your subwoofers under your seats or in other tight applications.
flex™ TECHNOLOGY
(2Ω OR 4Ω)
Memphis Audio’s patented FLEX Technology (selectable impedance) features a proprietary dual impedance voice coil that allows the user to select between different impedances by moving the included color coded jumper cables directly on the subwoofer.
Power Reference subwoofers utilize two terminals on the woofer, one one allows for a signal connection, while the other configures the ohm load of the sub to either 2Ω or 4Ω with zero performance loss.
With Memphis FLEX Technology you can ‘future proof’ your subwoofer set up. If you ever want to upgrade your system from a single subwoofer to dual subs, no problem! Simply reconfigure your original subwoofer and add a second sub with no issues. This technology is available on PR 6.5″, 8″, 10″, 12″ & 15″ subwoofers.
