V-GROOVE FOLDED SURROUND
In order to move massive amounts of air, you need a woofer capable of extreme excursion with a large surface area. High roll surrounds are great for excursion but they reduce the effective surface area of the subwoofer. The high performance V-Groom Folded surround used on high end Memphis subwoofers solves this issue. This design maximizes the available surface area of the woofer while still allowing for extreme excursion while playing at high power.
VENTED CAST ALUMINUM BASKET
M7 chiseled cast aluminum basket was built to for performance. The large venting integrated into the basket and orange anodized heat sink aid in heat dissipation keeping M7 cooler while in action.

DVVC DIRECT VOICE COIL COOLING
Traditional pole venting is an inefficient way to cool a subwoofer. Our DVVC technology rapidly cools the subwoofer by positioning the venting directly below the coil. The heat trapped inside the subwoofer is instantly exhausted through the vent holes. This proven technology reduces cooling time and allows your woofer to play louder, longer.
MEMPHIS FLEX Technology
Memphis Audio’s patented FLEX Technology (selectable impedance) features a proprietary dual impedance voice coil that allows the user to select between different impedances by moving the included color coded jumper cables directly on the subwoofer.
MSeries M7 subwoofers utilize two terminals on the woofer, one one allows for a signal connection, while the other configures the ohm load of the sub to either 1Ω or 2Ω with zero performance loss.
With Memphis FLEX Technology you can ‘future proof’ your subwoofer set up. If you ever want to upgrade your system from a single subwoofer to dual subs, no problem! Simply reconfigure your original subwoofer and add a second sub with no issues. This technology is available on M7 10″, 12″ & 15″ subwoofers.
