About Young Guns
Young Guns are a Memphis based "Full On" rock band founded by two brothers, Tommie Closson on lead guitar and vocals, Brandon Closson on lead vocals and guitar, with Michael "Ace" Caserta on bass and vocals, and Brandon Russell on the drums.
The Band's influences range from Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix to Pearl Jam, virtually any band that is considered a true master of their craft.
This is one of the reasons their unique sound and style stands out above the rest.
The Band has been together for a year now, and has already made a mark on the Memphis seen. The band has opened for Blues Traveler at Snowden Grove, as well as Eric Church at the Hernando Fall fest, in addition to playing Mingle Wood Hall, the Red birds games, and Wing fest this past year... Reviews have been fantastic, the live performances are where the band truly shines.
Currently the band has been working hard on their debut CD. The tracks have been cut at Ardent Studio and Infused, and several have been mixed by Grammy winning producer Phil Nicolo, out of Philadelphia, who has worked with everyone from Bon Jovi to Aerosmith...The CD should be finished by the end of the year...
