I am an true audiophile and was looking for an effective low frequency solution for my work van. Since it is a company vehicle, I was reluctant to do a major subwoofer install but still needed tight, clean and accurate bass. I have had small powered subs before, and found them all a compromise in one way or another. This One is different. Aside from having a 10 inch woofer and passive radiator set up, this little powered sub is still small enough to fit almost anywhere giving me plenty of much needed installation options. In my opinion, the SA110SP allows for better range of crossover controls than most others without sacrificing something alllowing you to really dial in the sound. The bass reproduction is smooth and tight and cutoff points are very precise. Especially, if you have a high quality head unit and are running an external amp. Now if you are into earthquake-inducing bass, stick with a sub amp and larger sealed enclosure. But, if you appreciate tight and accurate bass like I do, check this one out it's worth a test drive.
